What an incredible and insightful event at Upphandlingsforum 2025! The energy and drive to innovate within public procurement were truly inspiring, and we were thrilled to contribute to the high-level discussions. A huge thank you to Insight Events for hosting this vital gathering!
Our CEO, Johan Wedenius, took the stage to address a question that is crucial for the future of the industry: “AI, Threat or Solution?”
The presentation offered a deep dive into how Artificial Intelligence is fundamentally reshaping the procurement landscape, changing the market dynamic for both buyers and suppliers. We explored how AI and data-driven decisions are poised to dramatically influence critical areas:

- Collaboration between Parties
- Buyers’ Strategic Focus
Johan emphasized that the right kind of AI, backed by deep industry competence, is the solution. He showcased how our system, BidPal.ai (a platform built by buyers, for suppliers), is designed to significantly ease the tender process while simultaneously delivering the essential effects that contracting authorities need. We were also proud to demonstrate how BidPal.ai directly addressed and offered a practical solution to a major challenge identified by a previous speaker!

The interest and questions were so numerous that our moderators, Anna Ulfsdotter and Johanna Jonsson, had to step in to move the program along! We certainly take this enthusiastic response as a strong signal that our approach with BidPal.ai is perfectly timed and hitting a crucial industry need.
The engagement continued during the coffee break, where Johan was immediately approached by numerous attendees eager to learn more about the concrete, positive effects BidPal.ai offers for both contracting authorities (buyers) and suppliers.
